88 Painted Pianos

The Mansfield 88 Painted Pianos Project is an ongoing commissioning and display of interactive art. Local artists are commissioned to paint pianos which have been donated to DMi by the community. Completed pianos are installed around town in public places or in local businesses. 

"Mansfield 88" Painted Pianos

Round a corner in historic Downtown and you may discover one of our Painted Pianos. Why do we call this project the "Mansfield 88"? Because there are 88 keys on a piano keyboard. We don't have 88 pianos on display - yet!
