DMi and the National Main Street Center

Downtown Mansfield, Inc. is proud to be a member of the National Main Street Center and values their resources in educating and guiding our hands. Their most recognized programs are called Main Street America.

The National Main Street Center was established over 40 years ago as a program of the National Trust for Historic Preservation. Its purpose is to :”address the myriad issues facing older and historic downtowns”. With their nationwide network of coordinating programs and local communities, they have helped over 2,000 communities across the country “bring economic vitality back downtown, while celebrating their historic character, and bringing communities together”.

We share their vision that, “Main Streets are for everyone” and we embrace their core approach to revitalization, and we share their “commitment to creating places of shared prosperity, equal access to opportunity, and inclusive engagement.“
